Research that started with a study of how to utilize basaltic volcanic ash (tuff) collected from the Faroe Islands into ceramics.

The result is a wide range of glazes and clays, which colors and textures lead back to the origin of the raw material; to the barren and rocky landscape of the Faroe Islands.
